Martial Arts ThoughtsA few thoughts, history, philosophy... all related to practicing and living martial arts.
First of all, I will partially introduce myself and this site. I have been practicing oriental martial arts from the time when in our country it was forbidden, from the age of 13, the year 1985. I am now a 35 years old man, which means that I basically have a 22 years backround in martial arts. I have practiced several styles, amongst which Wing-Chun, Pak Mei, Chang Chuan, Nan Chuan, Hsing-Yi, Tai Chi Chuan, Shotokan-Wado Ryu, Goju Ryu, Kyokushinkai, Waco Kickboxing, Thai boxing, Ju Jitsu, Judo, Taijutsu, and of course, ended up after many years of practice having my own style, which I named KADZERYU. (Kadze-ryu= the power of the wind). It's not an "official" style, never was, maybe never will be. That's because I never was, am not, and never will be a big fan of certificates, diplomas, and belts. No certificate, diploma, or belt can protect you when facing an enemy. No diploma can save your life in the battle. And I am not part of ANY organization, because of the same line of thinking: belonging to some "accredited" club or organization does NOT protect you from getting your ass kicked. These being said, I invite everyone, practitioners, black belts, beginners and novices, laymen alike, to visit the pages on this nothing but straightforward speaking website of mine, to learn and to read about things I have seen that are wrong, very wrong in the martial arts world today, and to learn how, according to my (not so humble) opinion things should be. This website is NOT to hurt anyone's feelings, not to discredit any "accredited" organization or club. It's merely an eye-opener about the things that most of us forgot.
Welcome !
